Since 2007 Lane Hudgins has provided forensic economic consulting services for both plaintiff and defense firms throughout the United States and has testified in state and federal court in Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky and Indiana.
Dr. Hudgins prepares clear, comprehensive, and well-researched reports of economic loss that incorporate individual factors and circumstances in her evaluations. In reviewing the work of opposing experts, Dr. Hudgins offers a thorough examination of their findings, methodology, and sources of data. She also aids plaintiff and defense counsel in preparing to examine opposing economic experts at deposition and trial.
Very active in both the National Association of Forensic Economics (NAFE) and the American Association of Economic & Financial Experts (AAEFE), Dr. Hudgins has served as a board member for each of these organizations and as a referee and editor for their publications. She has also presented papers and served as a discussant and session chair at various forensic economic meetings and sessions.
Dr. Hudgins completed her PhD in Economics at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and holds undergraduate degrees in both Economics and Commerce. She would like to one day complete a degree in French and is active in several community groups.
